On September 30th 2015, Golar announced FID on the Cameroon GoFLNG project. "Binding and effective terms" were signed between Golar, Perenco and Cameroon, with first LNG targeted for Q2 2017. The announcement is proof of concept for Golar and validates their aggressive "build it first" FLNG strategy.
