First greenfield US Gulf Coast LNG project on target for FID

Report summary
Cheniere completed commercial contracting for Trains 1 and 2 of the proposed greenfield Corpus Christi US LNG export project. This week, Cheniere announced agreements with Pertamina of Indonesia (0.76 mmtpa) and Woodside (0.85 mmtpa). In total, 6.88 mmtpa of LNG is contracted for Trains 1 and 2. Wood Mackenzie expects a final investment decision (FID) to be taken by early-2015 and LNG production could begin as early as 2018.
