Report summary
LNG markets settle after global cold snaps Feb TTF settled at $9.2/mmbtu, a 5% increase, this followed a midweek dip ($8.5/mmbtu), which set a new six-month low. NE Asia prices decreased to $9.3/mmbtu, with a 2.1% decline, while HH prices dropped to $2.7/mmbtu. Feb TTF prices remained at the bottom of the coal-to-gas switching range, maintaining the incentive for gas-fired generation.
