French send-outs increase as LNG terminals return from planned maintenance This week saw continued volatility for European gas prices. As of 25 Oct, TTF was up just over 9% on the week settling at $14.9, near recent highs. At the same time, NW Europe DES prices were down approximately 3% settling at $15.7. Despite larger moves in European markets, NE Asia prices ended the 7-day period relatively unchanged, settling only 0.5% higher on the week at $17.7. During the reporting period, the 24th of October saw the combination of lowered North East Asian ship charter, $150,000/day and the NE Asia - NW Europe premium opening up as NW European DES price dropped. This contributed to Gulf Coast FOB prices edging up as traders looked to take advantage of inter-basin arbitrage.
