Report summary
Prices decline despite Chevron strikes planned for 7 Sep and a tighter European balance from NCS maintenance Week-over-week, we saw TTF and NE Asia prices decrease along the curve as of 30 Aug settles. NE Asia declined the most with an average of -11.5% through Mar ’24 despite Australian strikes scheduled to begin 7 Sep at Chevron facilities. However, continued price volatility is not out of the question. Henry Hub Sep contract settled at ~$2.6 on Tuesday this week, and Oct increased by ~7%, or 20 cents. The following winter months saw a similar increase.
