January TTF prices settled at $14.4/mmbtu as the month became the new front-month contract. European storage levels have declined week-on-week, now standing at 84%, although the pace of the decline has slowed due to milder weather reducing heating demand and LNG sendouts. In Poland, the Swinoujscie LNG terminal's newly expanded 180,000m³ storage tank received its first cargo, marking progress in its 5.4mn t/yr expansion. While Gassco extended maintenance by nine days to conclude on 19 December, nominations currently remain steady at 339 mcm/d. Although forecasts of above-seasonal temperatures have curbed heating demand, anticipated overnight lows in December could drive a rebound in consumption
