The Himeji LNG terminal in Hyogo prefecture, Japan, is an operational facility owned and operated by Osaka Gas. The import facility started commercial operations in 1984 and shares a single berth with the adjacent import facility Himeji LNG terminal, owned and operated by Kansai Electric Power.Currently, the import facility consists of 8 storage tanks (7 tanks of 80,000 cubic metres capacity and 1 tank of 180,000 cubic metres) and has a nominal capacity of 6.2 mmtpa.
