Report summary

The Kochi regas terminal is owned and operated by Petronet LNG Limited a corporation set up by the government to import LNG and develop regas capacity in India. Four of India's public sector companies Gas Authority of India (GAIL) Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) each hold 12.5% stakes in the company. Gaz de France (now Engie) was selected as a strategic partner and holds a 10% interest in Petronet LNG.
