Kochi - LNG regas terminal
Report summary
The Kochi regas terminal is owned and operated by Petronet LNG Limited, a corporation set up by the government to import LNG and develop regas capacity in India. Four of India's public sector companies - Gas Authority of India (GAIL), Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) - each hold 12.5% stakes in the company. Gaz de France (now Engie) was selected as a strategic partner and holds a 10% interest in Petronet LNG.
