The Kwangyang (Gwangyang) LNG terminal in South Jeolla, South Korea, is the first privately held LNG import terminal owned and operated by POSCO (Pohang Iron and Steel Corporation). In June 2002, terminal construction began with an EPC contract awarded to POSCO E&C.
