PNG LNG T3 was part of the proposed three-train PNG Expansion project in 2018. The two other trains were part of the Papua LNG project, totalling 8 mmtpa. Two sets of fiscal terms were required to proceed with FEED on the expansion project. A set of terms for the Papua LNG project which was agreed upon in 2019.
