Port Arthur LNG is being developed by Sempra Infrastructure Partners (Sempra Infrastructure), a subsidiary of Sempra Energy. The project is being constructed on a large 2,900-acre site about five miles (eight kilometres) south of Port Arthur, Texas. Access to the Gulf of Mexico is via the Port Arthur Canal.
