Cheniere’s 9.5 mmtpa ‘Stage 3’ expansion of its Corpus Christi LNG project has come to prominence in recent months. An EPC contract for Stage 3 is expected to be signed shortly, following competitive bids from KBR and Bechtel. Cheniere plans to take FID in 2020, although may develop the project in phases.
