Q4 North America LNG projects update: FERC authorization maintains momentum at Cheniere's Corpus Christi LNG Stage 3
Report summary
Cheniere’s 9.5 mmtpa ‘Stage 3’ expansion of its Corpus Christi LNG project has come to prominence in recent months. With FERC permitting now complete, and marketing activities well advanced, the next key milestone will be finalizing EPC terms. An EPC contract for Stage 3 is expected to be signed shortly, following competitive bids from KBR and Bechtel. Cheniere plans to take FID in 2020, although may develop the project in phases.
