The Shandong LNG regas terminal is located at Dongjiakou port in Qingdao, Shandong province. This project is Sinopec's first regas terminal and its LNG is mainly supplied from Sinopec's long-term contracts with PNG LNG and APLNG. The terminal started with 3 mmtpa of initial regas capacity and was expanded to 5 mmtpa in 2016, with a planned expansion to 10 mmtpa in long term.
