Texas LNG is a proposed US Gulf Coast liquefaction terminal close to the US/Mexican border, near Brownsville, Texas. The project has a 625-acre site on the north bank of the deepwater Brownsville Ship Channel, five miles (eight kilometres) inland from the Gulf of Mexico. Glenfarne Energy Transition, LLC (Glenfarne), via its affiliate, Alder Midstream, LLC, is the majority owner and managing project partner.
