Wuhaogou is a small peak-shaving facility built by Shanghai Natural Gas Pipeline Network Company, a subsidiary of Shenergy Group. It was built in 1999, with a 70,000-m3/h vaporiser and a 20,000-m3 storage tank. An expansion to better manage Shanghai's seasonal gas demand was completed in late 2008 and increased regas capacity to 0.5 mmtpa. The expansion included two storage tanks, each with a capacity of 50,000m3, two additional vaporisers, a berth to dock LNG carriers and an LNG tanker ...
