Report summaryThe Accha Zinc Oxide District (AZO) is host to several deposits of which Accha and Yanque are the most advanced.
The project is comprised of open pit and underground mines, a concentrator with a 4.5kt/d processing capacity and a Waelz roaster to produce a saleable Zn-Pb calcine (Zincore's Fume Case). Underground mining at Accha is to commence in year 4 of operation until year 8, and is to be by cut and fill method.
The calcine is expected to be shipped from the port of Matarani located 600km from the minesite.
