Report summary

Andina operates an underground and open pit mine, plus a 88kt/d ore conventional Cu-Mo concentrator. The deposit is located in the high Cordillera of the Andes Mountains, 80km NE of Santiago. Both open pit and underground mining is conducted between 3,700m and 4,200m above sea level. Snowfall is extreme with 7 to 18m per annum and, because of this the open pit, operates usually 331-332 days per annum and the concentrator 360 days.
