Report summary

Andina operates an underground and open pit mine plus a 88kt/d ore conventional Cu Mo concentrator. The deposit is located in the high Cordillera of the Andes Mountains 80km NE of Santiago. Both open pit and underground mining is conducted between 3 700m and 4 200m above sea level. Snowfall is extreme with 7 to 18m per annum and because of this the open pit operates usually 331 332 days per annum and the concentrator 360 days.
