The Bagdad copper mine in Arizona is owned and operated by Freeport-McMoran and produces copper concentrate and SxEw cathode copper. a 160kt/d open pit mining operation feeds sulphide ore to a 77kt/d concentrator with limited additional feed going to ROM leach dumps.
