Bismark zinc mine

Bismark operates an underground poly-metallic mine and a conventional differential flotation plant of 2.5kt/d capacity producing copper, lead and zinc concentrates. Commercial production commenced in April 1992 with an initial capital investment of US$78 million. Peñoles closed permanently this mine operation in July 2020 and remains closed in 2021 due to lack of reserves.
