Report summary
Bloom Lake is a magnetite surface mine operated by Champion Iron, located about 940 km northeast of Montreal, in Quebec, Canada. The mine was acquired from Cleveland-Cliffs in April 2016 after being placed on care and maintenance due to weak market conditions. Champion restarted operations in early 2018 and has concluded a series of investments to increase capacity and improve product quality.
