Bloom Lake iron ore mine

Report summary

Bloom Lake is a surface mine approximately 940 kilometres north-east of Montreal in Quebec, Canada. Champion Iron acquired the mine in 2016 and re-started production in 2018. Champion Iron are intending to produce 7Mtpa of 66% Fe concentrate from Bloom Lake. The mine was previously owned by Cliffs who idled the mine in 2014.
