Report summary
Cariboo is an advanced stage feasibility level gold project near the historic Wells and Barkerville mining towns in British Columbia, Canada. The project is planned as an underground mine primarily utilizing bulk-tonnage long-hole longitudinal retreat mining method, with some stopes using a modified version or a transverse approach. A 2023 Feasibility Study envisaged a phased development for the project. In April 2025, Osisko released the results of an optimized Feasibility Study (2025 FS) introducing major improvements, including a single-phase ramp-up to 4.9ktpd for higher gold output and an optimized flowsheet with gravity recovery boosting overall gold recovery.
