La Herradura, located in Sonora, is one of Mexico's largest open-pit gold mines. It comprises an open pit mine, heap leach, Merrill Crowe processing and dynamic leaching plants (DLP). In 2018, the second line at the DLP was commissioned in the third quarter, with commercial production achieved in 2019.
