Cerro Lindo copper mine
Report summary
Cerro Lindo operates a sub-level stoping underground mine and a conventional 20.6kt/d ore concentrator that produces zinc, lead and copper concentrates. When operations started in 2007 the initial milling capacity was 5kt/d ore and after that it was expanded to 10kt/d in 2011 and 15kt/d ore in 2012 and 18kt/d in December 2014. The 2018 mill capacity is 20.6kt/d ore. This operation uses desalinated sea water and it is a zero discharge operation and in that way the Rio Topara is not affected at all.
