Report summaryCommercial production at Cerro Negro was declared in January 2015. Mine life is estimated at 14 years based on 2015 reserves of 4.7 Moz of gold and a degree of assumed resource conversion. Ore is treated in a 4kt/d conventional agitated leaching plant with a gold-silver dore as the final product. The next 11 years of mining is expected to be exclusively by underground mining using long hole stoping as the main method. 2016 gold production has been set at between 475-525 Koz of gold.
