Cerro Negro gold mine
Report summary
Commercial production at Cerro Negro was declared in January 2015. Mine life is estimated at 9 years based on 2021 reserves of 2.56 Moz of gold and a degree of assumed resource conversion. Ore is treated in a 4kt/d conventional agitated leaching plant with a gold-silver doré as the final product. The next years of mining is expected to be by underground mining using long hole stoping as the main method.
