Report summary

The Chalice plant originally shared some of the infrastructure and personnel from Resolute's Higginsville mine, 25km to the south-west.  In 1997 the Higginsville mill was mothballed, and from 1998 ore from Higginsville  has been processed at Chalice. Higginsville ore is included in the analysis for Chalice shown here from 1998 on. Western Australia introduced a royalty on gold production of 1.25% from July 1998.  The royalty increased to 2.5% in July 2000 at gold prices above A $450/oz;...
