In 2021 three underground mines (San Bartolo, Aurora and Rey y Reina) feed ore through the shaft the Los Leones to the concentrator. The mill capacity is 4.1kt/d but the mill usually operates at reduced capacity of 3.9kt/d for 330-337 days/a. In mid-2021, the mill was reported to be running at 4.0kt/d. Charcas was considered the largest zinc producer of Mexico. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating a number of granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry standard cash operating costs. This report contains a detailed asset note giving you a holistic view of the asset, including an operational overview through to a timeline of events from inception to now.
