Co-O gold mine
Report summary
The Co-O mine is a low cost underground operation that commenced production in 2002. The mine utilises air-leg drills to conduct shrink and room-and-pillar stoping methods with battery-powered locomotives and 1.2 tonne mine cars to transport ore and waste. Mill expansion was completed in 2014, which enabled ore milled to increase from 356kt in 2013 to 577kt in 2015. The mill capacity currently sits at 750kt/a which started in 2014.
