Cockle Creek zinc smelter

The Cockle Creek smelter in New South Wales, Australia operated between 1961 and 2003. At the time of closure the smelter had an estimated production capacity of 93kt/a slab zinc. The smelter has since been demolished and the site rehabilitated.
