Report summary
Dakuangshan zinc mine is located in Mang City, Yunnan Province. It consists of an underground mining operation and a concentrator. It produces both a zinc and a lead concentrate with considerable silver reporting to the lead concentrate. Dakuangshan started production in 2001 and running at a very small scale until 2011, when China Polymetallic acquired 90% of the mine and started exploration and expansion. The accompanying analysis includes the production from December 2012 when the mine started its commercial production after the expansion.
