Hermosa-Taylor zinc mine
Report summary
Hermosa Project comprises the Taylor and Central polymetallic carbonate replacement deposits which will be mined through sublevel open stoping underground method. The ore will be processed through conventional crushing, milling and flotation facility for a 9,072tpd to produce a lead and zinc concentrates. Filtered tailings will be deposited into two dry stacks. The expected life of mine is 29 years. The property is located within Santa Cruz County in Arizona, approximately 50 miles southeast of Tucson. It is 180 miles to the Port of Guaymas, Mexico from where the concentrate will likely be loaded for shipment. It is comprised of 28 patented mining claims totalling approximately 533 acres with the surface and mineral rights owned fee simple.
