Report summary
Detour Lake, is located approximately 300km northeast of Timmins, in Ontario. The original Detour Lake open pit mine was operated by Placer Dome between 1983 and 1999. Detour Gold acquired the property in 2007, following a 27 month construction period and commercial production was declared in September 2013. In 2024, the mine produced 672koz of gold.
