Report summary

The El Teniente Division is part of a mine-metallurgical complex that includes eight underground mines, a small open pit (Rajo Sur), three milling plants with two flotation sections with a total capacity of 140kt/d ore, a 1.31Mt conc/a smelter and a small 12kt/a SxEw plant that produces copper from the treatment of various waste water sources and leaching of smelter flue dusts. According to Codelco's 2018 PND, the Rajo Sur is expected to close by the end of 2022.
