Endeavor is a zinc-producing mine in New South Wales, 47km North-West of Cobar.In February 2016, CBH Resources announced that it would cut production at Endeavor by approximately 80% in order to preserve the 'resource in the ground' while commodity prices were low. The company confirmed that it would make 116 positions redundant at the mine. Milled output was expected to fall from almost 700kt in 2015 to around 150kt in 2016. In 2017, output is forecast to increase to around 400kt/a in line with improved global zinc market prices, with mine life extending until the end of 2020.
