Operations comprise two open pit mines (Escondida and Escondida Norte), two concentrator plants (Laguna Seca and Los Colorados), a crushed ore heap leaching operation for oxide ore, a ROM dump leach operation for marginal sulphide ore, an SxEw plant, plus a filter plant and port facilities at Coloso which are connected to the mine-site by two 160km slurry pipelines.
