Fazenda Nova (Closed) gold mine

The Fazenda Nova property is located in Goias State, Brazil almost 200 km from the state capital of Goiania and 300 km from the national capital of Brasilia. Studies suggested potential beneath the shallow saprolite deposit for a higher-grade primary gold deposit; but Yamana have no plans to develop this at present and the accompanying analysis assumes the mine remains closed.
