Report summary
Operated by Jiangsu Cobalt Nickel Metal (KLK), the Taixing cobalt refining plant is located in Taixing city in Jiangsu province, China. The plant is a 100%-owned subsidiary of GEM Co., Ltd. The plant has a capacity of 5.0 ktpa cobalt sulphate and 12.5 ktpa cobalt tetroxide in contained cobalt as of 2021. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating several granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry-standard cash operating costs.
