It's been another volatile month for the zinc price. After starting June just under $4000/t, the price is set to end the month below $3300/t, weighed down by negative sentiment and growing concerns about the global economy. Despite these concerns, the refined market remains exceedingly tight with LME stocks shrinking and the cash-to-three months backwardation flaring out to over $200/t at one point.
