Report summary
The Golden Grove mine consists of the Scuddles and Gossan Hill underground mines and the Copper Oxide Open Pit, above Gossan Hill. The Copper Oxide Open Pit commenced ore production in H2 2012 and open pit mining was completed in Q1 2016. A sale agreement between MMG and EMR Capital was completed on 28 February 2017, with transfer of ownership effective from 1 January 2017. Mining contractor was engaged by EMR Capital, aimed at improving mining operations to lower cost and grow reserves.
