Report summary
PT smelting has constructed an integrated smelter and refinery complex at Gresik near Surabaya, East Java. 357kg Hazelett cast anodes from the Mitsubishi process smelter are refined using a 654 cell ISA process tankhouse rated at 200kt/a cathode. Anode life is 21 days, while 50kg and 100kg cathodes are produced in 7 and 14 days respectively to meet customer requirements.
