Hengbang copper refinery
Report summary
Hengbang (Humon) refinery is located in Yantai, Shandong Province in East China. It was initially a gold refinery. The copper refinery was constructed together with its bottom blown smelter, which was commissioned in 2010. The capacity of the refinery was initially 80 kt/a and was then expanded to the current 250 kt/a. The accompanying analysis includes only the production and cost of the refinery from 2019 onwards.
