Guelb Moghrein gold mine
Report summary
Guelb Moghrein is an open pit copper-gold mine which produces copper-gold concentrate. The deposit was previously mined from 1967 to 1978 and then again from 1992 to 1996 when gold was recovered from the copper tailings. The attached analysis assumes operations continue through to 2025. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating a number of granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry standard cash operating costs. This report contains a detailed asset note giving you a holistic view of the asset, including an operational overview through to a timeline of events from inception to now.
