Report summary
The Holt complex is comprised of a number of deposits and has been mined as a combined open pit and underground operation. Ore is sourced from the Taylor mine, the Holt mine and the Holloway mine. Ore from all the mining zones is toll milled at the Holt McDermott carbon-in-leach (CIL) mill, which has a capacity of approximately 3,000tpd. The Taylor deposit was developed as a replacement ore source following depletion of the Hislop deposit. On 2 April, 2020, operations at the Holt Complex were placed on care and maintenance indefinitely.
