Holloway Restart (Holloway, Holt & Hislop) gold mine

Report summary

The property is mined as a combined open pit and underground operation. Ore production is currently from the Holt and Taylor underground deposits. Ore from all the mining zones is toll milled at the Holt McDermott carbon-in-leach (CIL) mill within the Holt complex. The Taylor deposit was developed as a replacement ore source following depletion of the Hislop deposit. Underground mining at the Holloway mine was temporarily suspended in 2016 and the property transitioned back to surface exploration activities. Open pit mining activity at the Hislop deposit was completed in 2014 and is currently on care and maintenance.
