Operated by POSCO Argentina, Hombre Muerto North (POSCO) is a lithium brine project located in Salta, Argentina. The project, also referred to as Sal de Oro, is one of several within the Salar del Hombre Muerto. Located at the north of the salar, this project lies mostly within the Salta province. POSCO has reported an estimated reserve of 13.5Mt LCE and envisages the production of a lithium phosphate intermediate product from the brine feedstock, commencing in 2023.
