Report summaryThe Jaguar/Bentley Copper-Zinc-Silver Mine is comprised of two underground mines, Jaguar and Bentley. Reserves at Jaguar were exhausted at the end of 2012 and all mill feed now comes from the higher Zn grade Bentley mine.
The operation produces both zinc and copper concentrates with the majority of silver reporting to the copper concentrate.
Zinc Production reached 430kt/a in 2014 with the expansion of the mill and start-up of Bentley, production is expected to start declining going forward. Based on reported ore reserves the Bentley deposit has a mine life to 2017.
Jabiru metals was the subject of a takeover by Independence Group which was completed in June 2011.
