Report summary

Jinfeng is an underground mine, with open pit operation ceased in April 2015 due to depletion of open pit ore. Conventional mining method of truck and shovel was employed at the open pit and full mechanised cut and fill methods are utilised at the underground mine. The ore is refractory in nature. The process plant has a capacity of 1.5Mt/a and uses the BIOX® process to oxidise sulphide minerals before passing to a standard carbon-in-leach (CIL) circuit. Average annual production for the life of mine is 125koz Au.
