Report summary
The Superpit is the largest gold mine in Australia, producing an average of over 600koz of gold per year. The mining complex consists of two mines - the Fimiston open-cut "Super Pit" and Mount Charlotte underground, and the Fimiston and Gidji processing plants. The complex is operated by Kalgoorlie Consolidated Gold Mines Pty Ltd (KCGM), wholly owned by Northern Star Resources.
