Report summary
The St Ives gold mine is located in the Eastern Goldfields region of Western Australia, around 80 kilometres south of Kalgoorlie. Gold Fields Ltd acquired the property from WMC Resources in 2001. The mine is produces over 350,000 ounces per annum, making it one of the leading gold producers in Australia. Ore is sourced from a number of underground mines and open pits and processed at the 4.7Mtpa capacity Lefroy mill. In 2024, the mine produced 331koz of gold.
